Mir Quasem Ali’s funeral-in-absentia was held at Baitul Mokarram mosque with popular public participation amidst tight security forces presence. Several of the funeral attendees were arrested later.

7 funerals in absentia were arranged for the acceptance of martyrdom of Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali in Sylhet city. A large funeral-in-absentia was held at Sylhet Alia madrassah grounds, where Ehsanul Mahbub Jobayer gave a speech after the funeral prayers.

Three funerals were held in Rajshahi city, 55 funerals in absentia in Rajshahi west organizational district area and 9 funerals held in Rajshahi east organizational district seeking salvation of the departed soul of Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali.
Khulna
Around 20 funerals in absentia held in Khulna South organizational district. Besides, 9 funerals held in Khulna North organizational district and 4 others took place in Khulna city.
Barisal, Natore, Magura, Kushtia
Similarly 5 funerals in absentia were held in Barisal city (one pictured below). Some 166 funerals took place in the greater Barisal region for the Jamaat’s central executive committee member Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali.
Nator district Jamaat-e-Islami arranged a funeral in absentia. District Jamaat’s acting Ameer Principal Delwar Hossen led the prayer. In total, 49 funerals held in different places of this district.
Magura district Jamaat arranged a funeral in absentia for the salvation of the departed soul of Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali, Sayeed Ahmed led the prayer. Such funerals held in 20 places of the district.
Kushtia district Jamaat held another funeral in absentia for the executed Jamaat leader Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali. District unit Jamaat Ameer Shahjahan Ali Molla, Secretary Maulana Abul Hashem, Assistant Secretary Hafez Rafiq Uddin and Delwar Hossen along with thousands of leaders and activists attended the prayer. Some 66 funerals and 307 prayer program held in different places of this district today.
Chittagong
Eight funerals in absentia held seeking the acceptance of the martyrdom of Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali held in Chittagong city. Some 96 funerals in absentia took place in the greater Chittagong region. Picture below of funeral at old Chittagong railway station, Chittagong. Video is added.

18 funerals in absentia held in Cox’s Bazar district for the acceptance of martyrdom of Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali.

50 funerals held in Nilphamari district offering prayer for the acceptance of martyrdom of Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali.
77 funerals in absentia took place in Laxmipur district. District Jamaat arranged a funeral attended by huge gathering in the town area. District Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer Hossain Ahmad Bhuiyan led the prayer.
